Your contribution to TenneT
Integrated Security Officer at TenneT – Lead Security Across Three Key Perspectives
At TenneT, security is a cornerstone of our business, and we view it through three critical lenses: technological (e.g., cyber), physical, and people. These perspectives are coordinated through our corporate Information Security Management System (ISMS), in line with ISO 27001 standards. The LON Security Office plays a key role in ensuring the integration of security across our business unit, consisting of a collaborative team that includes the Head Security SPOC, Integrated Security Officer, and various representatives from different disciplines.
As an Integrated Security Officer (ISO), you’ll be at the heart of this effort—acting as the expert on security management with a deep understanding of all three perspectives. You will ensure that security remains a top priority, not only within your team but across all areas of TenneT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related topics within the LON business unit.
- Work closely with security representatives within LON to define, update, and implement security policies, controls, and risk management practices. Collaborate to strengthen all three security perspectives.
- Act as a liaison with other TenneT business units to align security efforts and ensure LON’s responsibilities within the corporate ISMS are met.
- Identify gaps in current TenneT requirements from an evolving risk landscape and collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement necessary improvements.
- Ensure LON's security practices are fully integrated into the corporate ISMS and prepared for ISO 27001 (re)certification.
- Provide regular updates to management and risk owners on the current “State of Security” within LON.
- Lead and participate in security assurance activities, including compliance reviews and internal audits.
- Foster a culture of security by enabling targeted LON-specific training and raising awareness across the business.
- Communicate security-related information effectively within LON.
- Take on all other security management responsibilities as part of the LON Security Office.
Your Impact: With your expertise in security management, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring a safe and secure working environment for yourself, your colleagues, and external contractors.
