Your profile and background
- You have worked in a comparable role for over 5 years, with in-depth experience in and comprehensive understanding of different tasks and phases related to Land Stations and the integration of all components of offshore grid connection projects, ideally of large-scales;
- You are, driven, enthusiastic, authentic, inspired and inspiring;
- You are an effective decision-maker and are determined to bring the decisions into fruition;
- You are dynamic and intrinsically motivated; you have a strong orientation for collaboration and partnership;
- You have strong communication skills managing relevant stakeholders like contractors and authorities;
- You are fluent in English and Dutch;
- You have a drivers license and are willing to travel as per project needs;
- You are preferably IPMA certified or open to obtain.

TenneT is growing fast to realize its strategic ambitions. We play a leading role in driving the energy transition. We are looking for a passionate Project Lead for the realization of the Nederwiek Gamma Land Station for the Regional Cluster Geertruidenberg (Large Projects Offshore).
Your contribution to TenneT
As Project Lead Land Station you will be responsible for all preparatory activities and realisation of the Nederwiek Gamma Land Station within the Regional Cluster Geertruidenberg.
You are reporting to the Project Director of the Regional Cluster Geertruidenberg. The project activities include continuous alignment with stations contractors and external stakeholders as NGV for LionLink and (HVDC) contractors (Hitachi, Larsen & Toubro).
Project Management Tasks
- You manage the Land Station team in the project and several disciplines in the area of project support;
- You contribute actively to a safe working environment for yourself, your colleagues and contractors;
- You manage the site preparation, design, construction, commissioning and handover according to specifications;
- You develop and maintain valuable stakeholder relationships, esp. with the portfolio team and Hitachi for the HVDC scope
- You effectively engage with the other workstreams to ensure project alignment and clarity;
- You support to set tangible and ambitious goals in alignment with TenneT’s strategies and objectives;
- You develop and maintain valuable stakeholder relationships, esp. with suppliers and legal authorities in a strong partnership-approach and mindset;
- You ensure compliance with deadlines, contracts, costs, quality and HSE guidelines, TenneT’s documentation requirements and authority regulations;
- You align with experts and teams within Large Projects Offshore and various other departments within TenneT esp. Large Projects Onshore, Asset Management and Supply Chain Management, taking into account lessons learned from other large projects;
- You drive selected overarching topics on behalf of all for the LPO departments.
Team Management Tasks
- You support to set up, staff and lead an efficient and dedicated team to realize project goals as well as TenneT's broader objectives. Meanwhile, you act as the change agent for standardisation in the 2GW projects and optimisation of synergies between projects;
- You support to ensure that team members have the necessary skills, training and resources to perform their roles effectively. You set and communicate clear priorities with the team, keep them informed of possible changes, delegate tasks and allocate resources;
- You foster open dialogue and a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and continuous learning within LPO and the 2GW departments;
- You exchange with experts and teams within 2GW, LPO and various other departments to continuously deepen and consolidate learnings from large projects.
