Your profile and background


Basic requirements:
  • Safety is always your top priority;
  • Relevant Bachelor or Master Degree;
  • Proficiency in English, willing to learn Dutch;
  • Driver's license B.

Knowledge & Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience with programs like Matlab, ATP, or similar.
  • You have sufficient substantive knowledge and thus know where the risks in the technical design in the field of EMC lie.
  • You are used to or enjoy stepping away from the drawing board and working more in a reviewing and coordinating capacity.

Your contribution to TenneT

Are you a seasoned electrical engineer with a passion for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)? Do you want to play a crucial role in developing our energy network? Then we have a challenging position for you!


Your new challenge

As an EMC Engineer at TenneT Large Projects Netherlands (LPN), you will work on large-scale projects to expand our high-voltage network. You are responsible for ensuring the electromagnetic compatibility of our installations. You ensure that our equipment operates without interference and complies with all relevant standards and guidelines.


What will you do?

  • Design and testing: You develop EMC concepts and perform analyses to ensure the electromagnetic compatibility of our installations.
  • Collaboration: You work closely with other engineers, project managers, and external parties.
  • Advising: You provide advice on EMC issues and are the contact person for technical questions.
  • Innovation: You contribute to the development of new solutions and innovations in the field of EMC.

This will be our challenge

Salary for this position is in grade 8 TenneT CAO
The weekly working time is 32 -40 hours
Type of contract is indefinite

Work Location
