Your profile and background

  • You hold an academic degree (Bachelor/Master) in Engineering / Industrial Engineering & Management or a technical field of study with engineering / science background
  • You have several years of professional work experience as a project manager of complex infrastructure projects and ideally have a track record in the HV electrical industry or offshore industry
  • You have a valid project management certification, such as PMP / IPMA D or higher
  • You feel comfortable to work in VUCA environments and are able to adapt to a variety of audiences
  • You show very good communication and stakeholder management skills – and are able to cope with conflicting interests
  • As our projects and teams are managed internationally, you should be fluent in English and preferably have good proficiency in German or Dutch
  • You show willingness to travel in Europe. Your suitability for offshore work according to the AWMF standard is required
   

Your contribution to TenneT

As a (Senior) Project Manager (m/f/d) at Grid Field Operations Offshore, you will be responsible for managing complex maintenance projects of our existing offshore grid connection systems in the Netherlands and Germany in a safe and sound manner to safeguard the security of supply. 
  • The key objective of your job is to successfully plan, realize and close out technical projects under consideration of safety, budget, quality and time to achieve overall stakeholder satisfaction
  • Furthermore, you will lead and coordinate the interdisciplinary project team while managing interfaces to our stakeholders, in particular the close cooperation with the execution grid connection teams and the involvement of the technical specialists
  • To guarantee a successful project life-cycle, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with permitsregulations, specifications, project governance and contract content
  • You are responsible for providing all the necessary project management documentation including project schedules and actively manage risks and opportunities
  • As part of our continuous improvement, you will also work on enhancing our project governance, PM tooling as well as being the mentor for junior project managers

Grid Field Operations is executing Field Operations, Maintenance and (Baseload) Projects. We ensure the integrity and safety of our assets entrusted to us, while also ensuring their maximum availability. We make sure that the onshore grids of TenneT is reliable in Germany and the Netherlands.
