What do you bring?
Educational background: MSc in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a relevant field.
Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of ISO 15288. INCOSE Certification (ASEP, CSEP, ESEP) is a strong advantage.
Experience: Proven experience in guiding and advising project teams. Familiarity with Requirements Management software tools and SE processes such a Requirements Engineering, Verification and Validation, and System Analysis.

Competencies:
A proactive, hands-on mindset and strong communication skills.
A collaborative team player open to feedback and eager to grow professionally.
Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to analyze complex situations and deliver practical solutions.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality of deliverables.

Fluency in English is required for this position, both written and spoken.

Your contribution to TenneT

How do you keep the Netherlands powered? As a Systems Engineer, you are responsible for integrating Systems Engineering into the daily operations of the 2GW program.  You will:

Serve as the main point of contact and subject matter expert for Systems Engineering on behalf of the 2GW Program for the different workstreams.
Establish and maintain effective communication channels with workstream leads, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with SE principles and processes.
Provide guidance and support to workstreams in adhering to 2GW standards, methodologies, and processes.
Collaborate with requirement owners and stakeholders to validate and verify the correctness and completeness of requirements within the library.
Ensure that requirement owners have access to the necessary tools and resources to perform validations effectively.

You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders across various workstreams and be part of a team of five Systems Engineers. The atmosphere is collaborative and focused on innovation, with a shared mission to embed SE as a standard across the program.

You’ll be part of the Information Management team within PMO, reporting to the Lead Information Management and working from our Arnhem Rijnpoort office. Together with four other Systems Engineers, you’ll support the transition to SE as a standard way of working.

Large Projects Offshore is a key contributor to the energy transition. The Unit is responsible for the current and future development of the offshore grid as a whole and subsequently for the development and realization of the DC interconnectors and the Offshore Wind Farm grid connections in both the German and Dutch sectors of the North Sea.

A permanent contract with a two-month probation period, based on 40 hours per week.
A salary in scale 8: €4,151 to €8,197 per month, including 8% holiday allowance, 6% year-end bonus, and 70% pension contribution.
A solid pension via ABP: we pay 70% of your premium.
43 days of leave per year (based on full-time employment).
