You have:
A completed degree in economics, engineering, or a comparable qualification.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in scheduling, ideally within large complex infrastructure projects together with experience in contract strategies and claim situations in projects.
Strong knowledge of Oracle Primavera P6 (3+ years).
Knowledge of HVDC projects and experience with Microsoft Office Tools like  Excel & Power BI are a plus.
Willingness to travel.

Your contribution to TenneT

As a Strategic Planner, you will play a key role in the 2GW Program within Hitachi portfolio, supporting the realization of large-scale infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for reviewing and integrating schedules from contractual partners, coordinating interfaces, evaluating delays, support in claim dossiers, and developing a portfolio approach for internal planning in collaboration with other project teams.

Your key responsibilities include:
Programme assessment & progress monitoring 
You review and assess Contractors’ Programmes to ensure alignment with contractual requirements and project goals. You monitor project progress, perform deviation analyses, and support mitigation strategies in close collaboration with the project team.

Deviation analysis & forecasting: 
You evaluate reported deviations and assess their impact on both the Programme and the Portfolio. You forecast potential shifts and evaluate their implications for project-specific delivery dates.

Claims & reporting
You support claim defence dossiers by providing schedule-related insights and documentation. You deliver regular reporting on scheduling status, including relevant KPIs and scenario analyses.

Stakeholder coordination & planning support
You act as the point of contact for planning-related questions and requests between Contractors and the project team, ensuring smooth communication and alignment.

Tool development & data visualization
You support the implementation and visualization of schedule data sets using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and Power BI. You also contribute to the development and improvement of project scheduling and control tools.

Strategic planning & risk integration
You deliver strategic analysis through clear reports and narratives that support executive decision-making and prevent scope or schedule shifts. You assist risk managers with risk-based planning revisions and integrate schedule data into project risk registers, contributing to the Scheduling Maturity Model (SMM) within the organization.

This will be our challenge

Large Projects Offshore is a key contributor to the energy transition. The Unit is responsible for the current and future development of the offshore grid as a whole and subsequently for the development and realization of the DC interconnectors and the Offshore Wind Farm grid connections in both the German and Dutch sectors of the North Sea.
