TenneT Finance Data, Analytics and Process Excellence (DAP) team plays a leading role in making high quality, trusted data assets and analytics available, enhancing operational efficiency, accelerating digital transformation and lead initiatives promoting a data-driven culture with innovative technology and processes. Our team is a blend of forward-thinking professionals who are not just keeping pace with change but driving it. For the DAP team, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Information Strategist. 

Your profile and background

What we are looking for:
  • Experience: a minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP architecture and implementation, with a focus on modules such as SAP PS, SAP CO and SAP SAC and SAP’s reporting solutions.  
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of SAP architecture, integration, and best practices. Experience with S/4HANA is highly desirable.
  • Problem-Solving: Exceptional analytical skills and bring in expert knowledge to resolve complex SAP issues quickly and effectively.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • The Senior Business Information Strategist hierarchically reports to the Lead DAP Team within Business Guidance.
Your profile and background
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting & Controlling, Information Technology or a related field. SAP certification is a plus.
  • You have strong analytical skills, work in a structured way, and enjoy solving complicated issues.
  • You want to take responsibility over your domain in SAP, and are proactive to keep your domain running.
  • You are result oriented with a critical attitude with respect to the results, process and quality.
  • Experience and interest in the energy industry is seen as a plus.
  • You speak Dutch fluently and English on a business level proficiency.

As a Senior Business Information Strategist, you will play a critical role in managing and guiding the use of SAP systems for business information and decision-making. You will work closely with leadership and x-functional teams to advise, develop and execute SAP usage strategies that enhance operational efficiency, improve business processes, and deliver value across the organization.

What are your responsibilities as Senior Business Information Strategist:

  • SAP Strategy & Architecture: Lead & advise on usage and impact of implementation of SAP solutions that align with business objectives and technology roadmaps.
  • System Integration: Support & advise on seamless integration of SAP modules with other enterprise systems, ensuring data consistency and process efficiency.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for SAP process enhancements and drive the adoption of best practices to optimize system performance.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with key users, BI specialists, Business representatives IT teams and external vendors to ensure that SAP solutions meet evolving business needs.
  • Knowledge carrier: Provide expert-level support for complex SAP issues, supporting in finding root causes to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.

This will be our challenge

Business Guidance provides advice for strategic, operational and financial planning and forecasting. We monitor, analyse and improve performance. Business Guidance safeguards TenneT’s financial health by ensuring transparency, setting (financial) targets and reporting on the achievement of those targets.

Additional information

  • The weekly working time is between 32-40 hours
  • Type of contract is indefinite
  • We offer a competitive salary package between € 4675 - € 9196 (job level 9 CAO TSO)
