What do you bring?
  • Quality Management Expertise: You have a relevant Bachelor’s degree and specialized training in quality and project management—or a comparable qualification.
  • Project Experience: You bring at least 5 years of hands-on experience in quality management, ideally within large infrastructure or offshore projects.
  • Audit & Standards Knowledge: You are skilled in conducting internal and external audits; auditor certification and knowledge of System Engineering or Systematic Contract Control are a plus. You have up-to-date knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 19011, and preferably ISO 21502, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or ISO 27001.
  • Contract & Methodology Familiarity: You are familiar with complex construction projects and contract types like FIDIC or UAVgc, and ideally have experience with Agile ways of working.
  • Strong Communicator: You are a proactive team player with strong communication skills in English. Dutch is an advantage. You can engage effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Change Agent: You are persuasive, organizationally sensitive, and capable of translating ideas into implementation. You bring seniority, connect people, and can initiate and guide change.

Your contribution to TenneT

As a Quality Advisor in the Project Management Office (PMO), you set and maintain the quality standards for our 2GW offshore projects. You act as a trusted partner on quality topics, ensuring that project teams are equipped to manage quality efficiently and effectively.

You will work within the Large Projects Offshore Netherlands (LON) unit, which plays a key role in the energy transition by developing offshore grid connections. Within the department Project Management Office, Delivery & Development (PMO D&D), you will join a team of approximately 15 colleagues, including cost engineers, schedulers, quality advisors, and PMO advisors, all reporting to the Lead PMO. The team is experienced, diverse, and operates in a dynamic environment where change is constant.
In this role, you will be involved in various projects, advising, supporting, and guiding teams depending on the project type and goals.

You are responsible for:
Ensuring that quality standards, tools, and processes are created, developed, and maintained as part of the Project Management Toolbox.
Acting as a partner for project teams and program management, aligning on needs, acceptance, and implementation of quality standards.
Implementing the Lessons Learned Management Standard across projects and the program.
Supporting continuous improvement by advising on quality implementation and organizational development.
Conducting internal and external audits (Systematic Contract Control) when requested.

Location: Arnhem (Rijnpoort), with incidental travel up to 6 times per year within or outside the EU (e.g. for on-site audits).

This will be our challenge

Large Projects Offshore is a key contributor to the energy transition. The Unit is responsible for the current and future development of the offshore grid as a whole and subsequently for the development and realization of the DC interconnectors and the Offshore Wind Farm grid connections in both the German and Dutch sectors of the North Sea.

We offer:
  • A permanent contract with a two-month probation period, based on 32 to 40 hours per week.
  • A salary in scale 8 (€4,141 to €8,197) or 9 (€4,675 to €9,196) gross per month, depending on experience, according to the TenneT TSO CAO.
  • 43 vacation days per year (on a full-time basis).
  • All mentioned employment conditions apply to a full-time position unless otherwise stated.
