Your contribution to TenneT
The Enterprise Architecture function is in the Business Technology Organization (BTO) of TenneT. You work within the Enterprise Architecture team of the BT-Office. In addition, you work together with BTO’s IT Architects and Domain Head to evolve on and continuously improve the Systems and Markets architecture standards and overall architecture landscape.
We are looking for someone that:
- Takes ownership of the systems & markets domain, the process and products
- Shows courage and stands for his/her vision, gets people on board by steering from their beliefs
- Actively connects with all stakeholders, he/she collaborates with business, external suppliers, IT architects, and all relevant stakeholders to ensure a shared architectural vision. He/she is especially strong in organizing and mobilizing the organization to reach that joint vision
Besides this, you:
- Actively contribute to the development, assessment, and realization of the Enterprise Architecture and the Enterprise Architecture Governance
- Establish principles, governance and guidance for maturing our Systems and Markets capability
- Develop and implement the enterprise-wide, scalable and flexible systems architecture and framework, that supports market operations, grid management, settlement, and load balancing aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
- Develop the roadmap, and outline how this target architecture is realized
- Monitor implementation of key systems and markets related projects like Control Room of the Future, and ensuring proper escalation and reporting to senior management stakeholders
- Proactively identify, analyse, review, and evaluate ideas, projects, and opportunities on systems and markets topics
Jouw profiel en achtergrond
- 10+ years of experience in a similar function, preferably you have done this before. Having business (TSO/Utilities/Infra asset) understanding is a big plus
- Strong experience with industry standards (ISO27k certifications)) and best practices in Systems and markets, including information security, risk management, control rooms and high availability systems
- In depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, software architecture, SCADA systems, integration and IT/OT
- Relevant certifications such as TOGAF and ArchiMate are preferred
- Good communication and presentation skills in German and English

BTO will secure solid foundations through seamless end-user services (UX), industry-leading cybersecurity setup and resilient data centers and cloud infrastructure. BTO will have consistent business/BTO alignment, strategic partnerships with vendors and clear standards on architecture, vendor & portfolio management and security. BTO will unlock value of data and digital by building all the necessary enablers (incl. data platform, data governance processes, capabilities) and embedding innovation initiatives into business roadmaps.
