Your contribution to TenneT
In this advisory position you will advise and support the HSE organisation and all business units throughout TenneT on Emergency Management.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Provide expertise with regards to emergency response processes and equipment with the aim to standardize processes within the organization
- Document, maintain and improve the emergency management system (preparedness and response) within HSE and TenneT.
- Along with the operational HSE advisors of the business units, support and train the TenneT business units on the implementation of HSE emergency preparedness and response requirements.
- Support the relevant contracts by preparing corresponding HSE requirements and providing expertise during tendering and contract execution
- Connect the HSE response with the TenneT Crisis management team
- Further improve the HSE emergency management approach within TenneT and update applicable directives.
- Perform and initiate various PDCA (plan, do, check, act) tasks for HSE on emergency management.
- Support the management of the HSE events entered in relation with the emergency systems, including investigation, identification and implementation of preventive actions
- You engage and collaborate with all HSE teams, other TenneT business units, and various external service/product providers.
- You support and help TenneT achieve our Zero Harm vision.
Your profile and background
What do we expect from you?
- You have a HBO/WO qualification in engineering, emergency management or HSE related topics.
- You have sound experience in developing and implementing emergency preparedness and response plans.
- You can train, develop and support teams on emergency preparedness and response principles.
- You are a working professional and have a passion for HSE or HSE related topics.
- You show independence, initiative, and the ability to work in a team. This is for you just as natural as strong communication skills and very good English skills.
- You are willing to travel within the Netherlands and to Germany when needed.

- This position is offered in scale 8 and 9, depending on level of expertise of the candidate.
