Your contribution to TenneT
- Set common goals and create an open culture with the contractor(s)
- Address mutual risks, ensure flexibility and feasibility for the contractor while adhering to TenneT's requirements and standards
- Support the project team and procurement in defining contracting strategy and advise / execute MEAT criteria
- Provide assistance to the team, project management and procurement in identifying, capture, analysis and tracking projects risks, contractual issues and opportunities
- If necessary: support of processing and enforcement of counterclaims / own claims
- Participation in the drafting of the contract, examination of contracts / specifications and support of contract negotiations
- Coordination and alignment with the other contract managers
- Ensuring the uniform interpretation of contractual clauses and treatment of claims and implementation of lessons learned from other projects
- Regular reporting to the responsible overall project managers (PD / FPD)
- Support on the Interface to the Claim Management and the Legal Department
Your profile and background
- Minimum 2 - 3 years experiences as Contract Manager
- University degree. legal, commercial and/or technical background
- Willing to learn and grow on large FIDIC contracts
- Verifiable experiences in the Offshore business and with FIDIC yellow/silver and other similar international standards
- Open and transparent (to-the-point) in the communication
- Willing to travel, for two days to the office in Arnhem and for project purposes
- As a person pro-active, accurate, task orientated
- Language: English, Dutch.
