Your profile and background

You:
  • Are currently enrolled in a bachelor's (hbo) programme in Communication, Event management or a similar field, and are available for an internship starting in August or September 2025
  • Are proactive, creative and have an eye for detail
  • Are a good planner and can keep an overview
  • Excel at creating strong content, whether it's a poster, presentation, intranet post or video
  • Speak and write excellent Dutch and English (English is also the working language for this assignment)
  • Are curious, eager to learn, and take initiative to connect with others
  • Enjoy working in a team and are open to feedback

Your contribution to TenneT

Assignment

You’ll help organize the Offshore Days and gain valuable hands-on experience. This is an annual cross-border event organized by TenneT’s Offshore departments in the Netherlands and Germany: 500 participants, two days, and of course, an incredibly rewarding experience. You will have the opportunity to put both your organizational and creative communication skills into practice. Ready to discover where your strengths lie? Together with your team, you'll contribute to the energy of tomorrow!

Your assignment consists of two parts:

1. Drawing up and implementing a communication plan

  • Drawing up a communication plan for the event (online and offline)
  • Creating content for internal social media, newsletters, news items and the website
  • Monitoring and analysing the results

2. Event organisation

  • Assisting with the preparation, planning and implementation of the event
  • Providing support on the day itself with reception, registration and logistics
You’ll be part of the Large Projects Offshore team, which is known for its open and international atmosphere. There is also room during your internship to work on a study-related assignment if required.

Large Projects Offshore is a key contributor to the energy transition. The Unit is responsible for the current and future development of the offshore grid as a whole and subsequently for the development and realization of the DC interconnectors and the Offshore Wind Farm grid connections in both the German and Dutch sectors of the North Sea.
