We are looking for a passionate Technical Specialist Process Automotion for Flexible AC Transmission Systems at our location in Arnhem who will contribute to this and that might be you?
Your contribution to TenneT
- Developing and reviewing technical specifications, guidelines, policies and decision papers (as the Document Owner) in order to steer the Asset portfolio and technical implementation (standardization) in the area of Process Automation Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) and Synchronous Condensers (SC);
- Preparing technical tender documents, evaluate the technical offers in tenders and support the technical negotiations for Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) and Synchronous Condensers (SC);
- Support FACTS and SC projects with technical knowledge in order to ensure the proper functionality in order to integrate the systems into the grid and internal systems;
- Participate in lesson learned sessions in order to further optimize the technical specifications with focus on operation and maintainability of FACTS and SC;
- Participate in tests of new equipment’s in order to approve them for operation. This includes test in test facilities of TenneT as well as test facilities of our manufacturers.
Jouw profiel en achtergrond
- Successfully completed degree with a technical background, preferably with a specialization in the field of automation, information technology or electrical engineering, or alternatively you have a comparable qualification;
- Experience in the field of Process Automation. Alternatively a background with communication systems and or/or control systems is also beneficial. Experience with standard protocols like IEC 61850, OPC-UA, etc. in the industry would be appreciated;
- Experience with the energy industry (DSO, TSO, manufacturer, etc.) or similar industries in which Protection, Automation and Control Systems are used (Oil & Gas, Chemical Industry, etc.) is a big plus;
- Able to draft guidelines and decision papers based on conducted interviews and meetings with our internal and external stakeholders;
- Strong teamwork skills and are preferably experienced in working with cross-site teams and bring a high degree of assertiveness and initiative, and are well organized and goal oriented;
- With a high degree of responsibility and quality awareness as well as your ability to drive things forward, your work will support the security of supply in the high voltage grid of Netherlands;
- Good communication skills (verbally and in writing) in Dutch and English;
- Willingness to travel nationwide as well as occasionally abroad round out your profile.
