Your contribution to TenneT
- You ensure that the Grid Connection System and all its sub-systems are integrated and commissioned according to relevant requirements
- You oversee the Testing & Commissioning and the Interface Management processes, the overall (workstream overarching) technical interfaces, as well as interface descriptions throughout all phases of the projects
- You promote Testing & Commissioning and Interface Management within the project by explaining employer expectations based on contractual requirements and employer experience
- You monitor project Testing and Commissioning progresses and handovers to ensure a transparent and successful internal handover, fulfilling anticipated requirements for “grid readiness” which involves potential stakeholders such as the Ministry of EZK and OWF’s
- You design the supervision of the integration and commissioning process
- You actively evaluate needed expertise
- You set up and manage a dedicated team of experts
Your profile and background
- You have a Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or comparable qualifications
- You have already gained professional experience and excellent knowledge about grid planning/integrity principles for a TSO as well as the functioning of the energy system
- You have experience in and knowledge of the topic of integration and commissioning
- Ideally, you have the certificates required for working offshore
- You show initiative. You are persuasive. You handle your stakeholders with a high level of sensitivity, awareness, and balanced judgment.
- You are dynamic, enthusiastic, and intrinsically motivated. You demonstrate ownership and commitment instead of a 'nine to five mentality'. You are open to international (e.g. Asia and Europe) business trips that can last several days
- You have excellent communication skills in an international context. You are great at building and maintain relations at all levels both in and outside TenneT
- You have a class B driver's license
- You speak both German and English fluently (minimum C1)
