Your contribution to TenneT
Do you want to drive the energy transition and turn our Target Grid into practice?
Within our strategy, one of the core pillars is “drive the energy transition”. We aim to deliver by 2045 a target grid required for a zero-carbon energy system, in accordance with the Paris Agreement and the national climate goals. Integration of large-scale offshore and onshore renewable generation and (increasingly electrifying) industrial customers is crucial to deliver on these goals and our Target Grid will support this.
Implementing our Target Grid approach in our organisation is the core task of the STP (Strategy & Partnerships) department. Aligning STP activities, accelerating initiatives and innovations, and challenging the business to deliver on our strategy towards 2045 is the main challenge we work on. For this we need a Strategy Advisor, a position that is crucial to get our STP department to the next level.
The Strategy Advisor will have two core tasks: join our team in implementing the Target Grid approach within the company and develop and manage the STP agenda to ensure focus and an integrated approach within the department.
Each team within STP plays a crucial role in this roadmap. In this role you will be responsible for:
- The Business Acceleration (BAT) team accelerates business output towards our strategic goals in 2025.
- The Digital and Flex Development team drives digital and flex developments (non-grid solutions), contributing to a smarter and innovative target grid picture in 2025 and towards 2030.
- The Climate Agreement CAP team pursues that we are trusted partner in the Climate & Energy Programs for Energy System and Industry, delivering against the Dutch climate goals in 2030.
- The Business Development team secures our equity need to deliver in the years to 2025, defines the crucial partnerships for TenneT required by 2030 and accelerates the offshore developments towards 2045.
- The Strategy team sets the strategic direction & milestones for 2025, 2030 and 2045, delivers the innovation agenda to deliver on our target grid in 2045, while leading as a green grid operator.
