The Maintenance Onshore (M-ON) department in the performance unit Asset Management Tennet is involved in long- and medium-term risk mitigation in TenneT's high-voltage grid with the aim of guaranteeing security of supply and safety. The department gives direction to the technical implementation of maintenance activities and the right follow-up activities. In addition, the team is responsible for monitoring the condition of the assets and defining solutions for bottlenecks in the grid that arise due to age.
As a Maintenance Strategist you manage a challenging and diverse package. You work in the M-ON team of 17 colleagues and together you ensure that the network is optimally maintained. You create an overview and manage the risks of the high-voltage grid. You will look for creative and innovative ways to mitigate these risks in the long term. You determine the high maintenance strategy and research data-driven and innovative solutions for this. In this function you gain insight into the condition of the assets based on analyses. These are the basis for investment proposals.
Your activities at a glance:
- This position focusses on cables;
- Identifying and analyzing asset-related risks;
- Keeping track of risks in the risk register and developing (innovative) solutions to mitigate the risk;
- Assist in the preparation of investment documents and programs;
- Develop and maintain the method to maintain insight into the condition of the assets;
- Formulating and thinking along about long-term policy in the field of maintenance;
- High on strategy for maintenance and replacement;
- Contribute to optimizing maintenance management;
- Representing TenneT in external working groups and partnerships.
Your profile and background
- Bachelor or Master degree and preferably in the direction of Electrical Engineering or Energy Engineering;
- 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience and experience with Cable systems is a must;
- You are analytically strong, aware of the environment and have good judgment;
- Able to 'build bridges' between different internal departments and external parties;
- You are enterprising; you are expected to take responsibility for what needs to be done;
- Communicative and socially you're very skilled, you have the right amount of tact and you have a personal upper hand. In addition, you are self-aware and have good empathy. Persuasiveness and independence are important here;
- Excellent command of the English language in word and writing for the preparation of advisory documents.

- The weekly working time is 40 hours;

- Salary for this position is in grade 9, maximum € 8594 gross per month based on a fulltime agreement (40 hours per week) or in grade 18 (Hay grade) maximum € 10.122 gross per month based on a fulltime agreement. Grade 9 or grade 18 is depending on experience, education level and skills.
