Your contribution to TenneT
You will be hierarchical lead of the project management staff in the Regional Cluster Borssele & Geertruidenberg to ensure the result-oriented delivery of project scope in time, quality, and budget. Your project team is responsible for day-to-day management of all project-related tasks. It consists of approx. 6 FTEs working full-time in the project and additional staff from other departments You will report to and collaborate with the respective Project Director Regional Cluster. The project activities include continuous alignment with contractors and other stakeholders.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Contributing actively to a safe working environment for yourself, your colleagues and contractors;
- Developing, maintaining, and monitoring all aspects of the project management such as planning, quality management, document handling, incl. the steering of System Engineering Advisor and Relatics Support as well as the BIM Manager;
- Contributing to standardisation of project management approach and optimisation of synergies between several HVDC-systems and off-shore platforms;
- Aligning with experts and teams within Large Projects Offshore and various other departments within TenneT and taking into account lessons learned from other large projects;
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, requirements and goals set for HSE, time, risk, quality and the framework of TenneT's corporate manuals and guidelines;
- Managing the respective budget in an efficient and responsible manner;
- Delivering high quality project plans and support to progress and exception reports as well as decision documents and evaluations for Grid Connection Systems and support implementing Project Steering Group decisions.
Perform people management & develop talents
- Setting up, staffing and (hierarchically) leading an efficient dedicated team, focussing on realizing the project goals and ambitions as well as TenneT's broader goals;
- You coach, inspire and actively develop employees and you align proactively hereto with other projects and line management;
- Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork within LPO and the 2GW departments;
- Ensure that team members have the necessary skills, training and resources to perform their roles effectively.
Jouw profiel en achtergrond
Your profile and background
You are a manager with strong technical and leadership skills. You are a natural, servant leader who can inspire teams. You are familiar with managing big infrastructure projects, especially also with offshore experience. You are preferably IPMA D certified or open to obtain.
Furthermore:
- You have preferably a Master degree and an academic level in thinking and working
- You are dynamic, enthusiastic, intrinsically motivated without 'nine to five-mentality’
- You have at least 3+ years of experience in a comparable job
- You are fluent in English and Dutch
You are willing to travel as per project needs.
