TenneT plays an important role in the Energy Transition, keeping a functioning grid up and running while expanding its capacity massively. With more information available in a more and more dynamic world, performing our asset management task on balancing cost, performance and risk in decision making is a challenging one. Strategic choices are needed to be made for our Target information architecture as part of our Target Grid 2045. What will the grid look like? How will it be operated and maintained? And what information is needed by whom to perform a top job?
As the Lead Asset Chain Process & Quality, you will work with various teams and stakeholders to improve our processes in asset management. You will help develop a vision for the role of the Asset Manager within TenneT’s end-to-end processes, considering norms and regulations such as NTA8120, ISO55000, and ISO27000. Your team will consist of a diverse group of professionals, all working together to improve our information and process landscapes.
Your role and responsibilities:
- Collaborating with chain partners within the organization to further develop the Strategic Asset Management Plan (SAMP) and facilitate the Asset Committee (AC);
- Reporting to the Head of Asset Information and managing a team of about 15 colleagues;
- Overseeing the improvement of the information landscape in line with Enterprise Architecture principles and ensuring the success of key initiatives;
- Playing a key role in improving processes such as Portfolio Management, Building Information Management (BIM) and User Acceptance protocol (TERRA and AQUA).

Jouw profiel en achtergrond
- You have an academic level of work and thinking, with a Master’s degree in Data/Information Management, Business Administration or Electrical Engineering;
- Several years of experience managing teams in complex organizations with diverse stakeholders;
- Experience with change and implementation management in both agile and waterfall environments;
- You are a people-oriented leader, experienced in Digitalization and Asset Management, and passionate about creating a collaborative, inclusive work environment;
- As we continue to collaborate cross border, regular travelling between our offices in Arnhem, Lehrte and Bayreuth;
- Act as a role model and create the right context for employees to show the desired mind-set and behaviour in line with TenneT’s leadership profile (Connection, Ownership and Courage).
