In this strategic advisory position you will built an HSE reporting practice throughout TenneT and take your share and enhancing quality when it comes to corporate reporting on HSE performance and plans. The function drives strategic and tactical improvements through HSE performance reporting at all hierarchy levels in TenneT. The function interfaces and collaborates with a wide range of in- and external stakeholders to define, monitor and control both in and external reporting requirements. The Strategic Advisor on HSE Reporting is central pivot for all HSE monitoring and performance and as such an important driver of compliance and continuous improvement of TenneT’s HSE performance.
Performance measurement and reporting is a core element of the HSE-MS@TenneT management system and the basis for measurable improvement of the performance both in NL as well as GE. Safety needs our Energy!
You will report to the Lead HSE ES Engineering and Services.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Create, maintain and implement corporate directives on HSE reporting throughout TenneT
- Act as the process owner of the TenneT KPI, Objective Monitoring and Reporting directive to facilitate appropriate and timely (annual) target setting including the interaction with business processes to plan, coordinate and control HSE performance monitoring in all business
- Have oversight and become an authority and go-to person within TenneT on HSE performance information and maintain a working group within HSE - and business units to ensure performance data quality and assurance
- Responsible for reporting of HSE performance to a range of internal and external stakeholders e.g contributions to regular business reporting to the board, CSRD reports and reports to regulatory authorities
- You will act as a trusted partner of senior and operational leadership on TenneT HSE performance data management and drive standardization throughout Tennet
- Support the business units in the integration of HSE performance reporting into generic business processes
- Design and create reporting dashboards and support the corporate HSE ES unit with HSE performance information and analyses
- Be the TenneT SPOC on HSE data assurance and data quality and the representative on HSE performance data management at internal and external audits. You are recognized as an active contributor to continuous improvement.
- Interact with the strategic advisors and content owners of various elements of the HSE MS to ensure consistency and completeness in performance data processes
- You represent TenneT within NL and GE external stakeholders.
Jouw profiel en achtergrond
- You hold a bachelor or master degree in business administration, information management, (data) engineering or comparable and have a proven affinity with safety, health, environment and IT
- You have experience with management systems ideally with HSE management
- You have 4 years of experience in reporting on a variety of disciplines preferably but not limited to HSE topics
- You are able to apply a variety of IT tools for the (statistical) data analyses and interpret the quality of data and the outcome of analyses
- You have experience with working in an international environment
- You are a strategic thinker with hands-on mentality, consequently you have the ability to grasp new concepts quickly and to become acquainted with a range of HSE topics
- You are dynamic, enthusiastic, intrinsically motivated and you take responsibility and show ownership
- You are organizational sensitive and have experience in working in a political environment
- You have a strong willingness to learn and change
- You are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing, as well as in one further language, either Dutch or German.
