Your contribution to TenneT
The Technical Specialist (TS) Mechanical (f/m/d) is acting as a specialist for a specific and assigned topic or system. The TS is taking over full responsibility for the technical expertise of the assigned systems within the department. The TS ensures that the quality of the systems (incl. documentation, equipment, process robustness, etc.) is meeting all requirements (incl. contract, technical standard and best practice). The TS is also responsible to ensure decision making with respect to the assigned systems.· Cross project coordination of all activities regarding the specific and assigned systems within the assigned projects
- Drive a lessons learned process
- Review of technical documentation as well as providing necessary technical documentation regarding defined time frames and content
- Monitoring of the contractor with respect to the follow up of SHE regulations
- Support professional construction and ensure functional readiness of all components and systems for the assigned systems
Your profile and background
- M.Sc. University or M.Eng/B.Eng with the title of an electrical engineer
- Structured working methods
- Contact and team capability, independent and self-initiative
- Class B driver’s license
- Ability to work on- and offshore (G20, G25, G37, G41, DGMM Offshore)

The Unit is responsible for the current and future development of the offshore grid as a whole and subsequently for the development and realization of the DC interconnectors and the Offshore Wind Farm grid connections in both the German and Dutch sectors of the North Sea.
