You will become Business IT Leader “Operations” (Head* of BT Operations) within the new Business Technology Organization (BTO). You will lead the End User Services; Infrastructure, Network & Cloud; Cybersecurity Execution; and Vendor Management teams teams within the department BT Operations. This new BTO department (+/- 250 fte) is responsible for day-to-day management and maintenance of the BTO’s infrastructure and systems.

Your contribution to TenneT

You will lead the BT Operations department and will be the day-to-day IT operations within TenneT. You show a strong external orientation, show passion and energy, and build trust.

Manage TenneT infrastructure

• Maintain and manage the BTO’s technical infrastructure, including servers, networks, and data storage systems.
• Monitor system performance and implement security measures to ensure the security of the TenneT’s data.
• Perform regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems.

Deliver seamless end-user services

• Ensure that IT services meet the needs of the organization and its users.
• Implement IT service management processes, such as incident management and problem resolution.
• Oversee the delivery of IT services to ensure they are delivered on time and to the required quality standards.

Perform people management & develop talents

• Manage and lead a team of IT professionals, including setting goals and objectives, providing feedback and coaching, and managing performance.
• Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork within the IT department.
• Ensure that team members have the necessary skills, training and resources to perform their roles effectively.

You support TenneT by guaranteeing seamless end-user services, providing resilient data centers and cloud infrastructure, and implement industry-leading cybersecurity. You will focus on output, manage the broad lines and show a strong external orientation.

Domain expertise

• Have experience in project management skills to drive the 3 value streams: End User Services; Infrastructure, Network & Cloud; and Cybersecurity Execution
• Have experience in industry standards and best practices for IT operations

Your profile and background

You are a senior IT leader with strong technical and leadership skills. You are a natural, servant leader who can inspire a large team. You are familiar with industry standards and best practices in IT operations, including management and maintenance of IT infrastructure in a 24/7 environment.

Furthermore:

• You have a degree in Computer Science or related field, or a clear affinity with Computer Science
• You have at least 10+ years of experience in a comparable job
• You are fluent in English, German and/or Dutch is an advantage
