Your profile and background
- Engineering degree (BSc/MSc) with 5+ years of relevant offshore platforms or related field experience
- Expertise in high-voltage secondary systems or Process Control Systems, e.g., Auxiliary DCS, GIS switchgear, Siprotec protection devices, or high-voltage SCADA
- Team player with a proactive approach to Scope of Work, Quality Assurance, and Risk assessments
- Proficient in operational and organizational readiness for onboarding new project assets
- Solution-driven in fault management situations to ensure quick resolution
- Familiarity with network architectures and the IT-OT interface experience in OT cybersecurity is advantageous)
Your contribution to TenneT
As an Operations Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining and optimizing offshore wind farm connections to the high-voltage grid. Your responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, project execution, and ensuring operational readiness for new assets.
You are also deeply involved in operational and organizational readiness to take-over new project assets, which requires cooperation with project engineers and third parties for commissioning and hand over of systems and documentation. Tasks and responsibilities:
- Develop efficient Maintenance Plans and execute preventive/corrective maintenance activities
- Manage budgets for maintenance, repairs, replacements, and investment measures
- Monitor fault management processes and provide technical input for safe and efficient operations
- Lead design efforts and manage project execution, serving as a discipline lead on multiple projects
- Collaborate with key vendors, evaluate service contracts, and ensure effective contract delivery

- Salary for this position is in grade 8, between € 3.879,- and € 7.660,- gross based on a fulltime position
- The weekly working time is 40 hours
- Type of contract is indefinite
- 43 vacation days
