Your contribution to TenneT

How will you keep the Netherlands powered? As a Strategic Planner, you are responsible for developing, rolling out, and implementing the planning standard within our projects. You will clean up and maintain the Primavera database, provide scheduling support to projects, and assist with the implementation of CAF in projects. This ensures a reliable and uniform way of working that supports decision-making and progress.

Your responsibilities include:
Setting up and maintaining program-level planning based on government and project requirements, ensuring feasibility within predefined frameworks.
Developing and maintaining scenario planning at program level to support scheduling, decision-making, and risk assessment.
Reviewing and auditing schedules (internal and external, including contractor schedules) for feasibility, integrity, and compliance with agreed requirements.
Assessing schedule status and analyzing change impacts, including visualizing scenarios for management reporting.
Advising project teams on Earned Value Management (time, budget, and costs) and risk management (probabilistic planning).

Additional tasks:
You identify and assess interfaces between departments, projects, contracts, and third parties, and coordinate with Offshore Development in case of deviations. You deliver and develop standards for setup, progress monitoring, and reporting within project teams and the 2GW program office, creating best practices for consistent project planning. You contribute to further developing time management maturity within Large Projects Offshore, maintain the Primavera database for efficient user operation, and actively participate in the functional expert group Scheduling. You report directly to the Team Manager PMO–DD Offshore.

The Team
You will work within the Large Projects Offshore Netherlands (LON) unit, which plays a key role in the energy transition by developing offshore grid connections. Within PMO – DD, you will collaborate with approximately 15 colleagues, including cost engineers, schedulers, quality advisors, and PMO advisors. The team is experienced and skilled, currently consisting of 3 planners (with a possible 4th in the future), and operates in a dynamic environment with rapidly changing projects.
Collaboration partners include planners from various projects; Project Control functions within PMO and Projects (cost engineers, cost controllers, quality advisors/managers); P6 governing teams (IT and key users & business owners in the Netherlands on- and offshore); and contractors (for audit and tender support).

Work location: Arnhem Rijnpoort — 2 to 3 days per week in the office (at least Monday and Wednesday; subject to change). Occasional travel may occur.
