Your contribution to TenneT
In this challenging role you will be responsible for the determination of the EHV grid and system behaviour of the future, especially with respect to:
- Power flow and contingency analyses in a more and more stressed system;
- Development of calculation methodologies and tooling;
- Intelligent grid planning concepts in the light of Sector coupling (e.g. Power-to-gas, power-to-heat, etc.);
- The primary focus of this vacancy is on the development of grid planning standards and policies and the implementation of those.
You will contribute to network development plans and network expansion projects (G0) in the Dutch transmission system and you will participate on behalf of TenneT in national and international working groups and study programs.
Jouw profiel en achtergrond
A relevant university degree, preferably in Electrical Power Engineering, Applied Physics or Mathematics and you have become acquainted with the modelling of electrical networks, especially in the requested field of expertise;Able to manage uncertainties, you can develop frameworks to estimate them, test these frameworks in discussions with others and then make well-founded statements about future expectations;Excellent project management skills to implement new grid planning policies and standardsProven knowledge of the transmission system and you have experience in conducting power system studies;Proven knowledge and experience in performing power flow and RMS-type calculations;Open style of communication, actively discuss with your colleagues and know how to convince others with arguments;You are proactive, show initiative and you dare to explore new ways;Excellent writing skills in both Dutch and English.
