Your profile and background

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT4IT frameworks;
  • Deep expertise in Enterprise Service Management (ESM) tooling and best practises for large multinational organizations;
  • Strong leadership skills;
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities;
  • Strategic thinking with a focus on continuous improvement;
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices is a plus;
  • Energetic self starter who is comfortable in an environment with lots of change and freedom to create impact;
  • Goal-oriented.

About Business Technology Organization (BTO) and BT Office: 
BTO is TenneT's centralized IT organization and a crucial component of TenneT’s ambitious strategy. Organized into value streams and domains, BTO aligns seamlessly with TenneT’s end-to-end processes. The BT Office functions as the CIO Office, positioned to drive direction, control, and change across domains and value chains. Following a significant reorganization, BTO is now poised to take the next step in realizing its full potential. As part of this effort, we are focusing on implementing IT Service Management (ITSM), Enterprise Service Management (ESM), and IT4IT frameworks to enhance our service delivery and performance. Our ultimate goal is to reduce disruptions and increase the speed of IT service delivery to the business.

About the Team: 
The Quality and Performance Management (QPM) team, within BT Office, is dedicated to overseeing strategic and tactical ITSM process management and ensuring robust quality assurance. Our primary goal is to empower the BTO organization to achieve optimal control by championing the adoption of IT4IT, implementing effective governance frameworks, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of quality and performance across all IT services, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvements.

Role Overview: 
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Quality Manager to champion and drive change within the BTO organization specifically in the areas of ITSM, ESM, and IT4IT. This role is pivotal in advancing our transformation journey, focusing on building alliances and fostering cultural shifts in our ways of working. The aim is to ensure that our IT services align with business needs and deliver exceptional value, all while leading from within, in an agile way.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion ITSM, ESM, and IT4IT Integration: Advocate and be a frontrunner for improving and realizing ITSM, ESM, and IT4IT within the BTO organization;
  • Drive Cultural Change: Promote and facilitate cultural shifts in the way of working to support the adoption of new frameworks and processes;
  • Build Alliances: Establish and nurture strong alliances across different teams and departments to support and drive change initiatives;
  • Strategic Roadmapping: Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for quality assurance that aligns with business objectives;
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders at all levels including leads (Senior Managers) and Heads (Senior Leaders) to promote the benefits of ITSM, ESM, and IT4IT and drive buy-in for change initiatives;
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on enhancing the quality and performance of ITSM;
  • Mentorship and Leadership: Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment;
  • Governance Implementation: Propose and realize governance frameworks that enable effective change management and process control.

This will be our challenge

BTO will drive security of supply, energy transition, organizational and financial health through digital, data and analytics. BTO will secure solid foundations through seamless end-user services (UX), industry-leading cybersecurity setup and resilient data centers and cloud infrastructure. BTO will have consistent business/BTO alignment, strategic partnerships with vendors and clear standards on architecture, vendor & portfolio management and security. BTO will unlock value of data and digital by building all the necessary enablers (incl. data platform, data governance processes, capabilities) and embedding innovation initiatives into business roadmaps.
