The Work Planner Offshore is the heart, the spider in the web of our department and is the key to our success outside our offshore activities. Together we execute high-quality maintenance and projects from offshore vessels enabling efficient operations in the North Sea. We operate and maintain with the use of CTV and SOV vessels currently 5 AC700MW Offshore High Voltage Substations (offshore platforms) and building towards two more high-performance assets, designed for the installation of the next generation of wind turbine generators at Sea.
We are looking for a full-time Work Planner Offshore to strengthen the Planning team within our Operations and Project Management departments and to support the delivery of maintenance & projects in the North Sea. The ideal candidate will have previous Planning and Offshore experience with the motivation and desire to develop a long-term career within an organization willing to support career development within the Offshore department
The Work Planner Offshore will serve a broad scope of activities, in the heart are the preparation and execution of high performance campaigns on our assets.
Key responsibilities:
Steering Maintenance Work Preparation- Together with the department building the offshore execution planning
- Provide departmental wide resource planning together with other planners
- Set up, maintain master schedules, and offshore schedule
Scheduling Work together with input from engineering
- Coordination of offshore & onshore trip and campaign preparations with internal and external stakeholders and contractors
- Material and contractor purchases via SAP including vendor management
- Definition of procurement scopes based on planned work orders
- Defining personnel, tools, transport requirements for maintenance activities
- Leading and coordinating for efficient and effective use of vessel time.
- Progress control of offshore activities and related actions
- Advising Grid Connection Core Team and Leads of (potential) exceptions for steering and/or priority calls.
- Coordinating and steering on efficient and effective use of vessel time
- Modifying the planning where necessary due to (for example) weather.
- Continuous Improvement
- Development and improvement of activity norms
- Manage data for planning purposes
- Leading and/or supporting development of planning tools and ways of working (such as PTW/PTA system, rotation plans etc.)
- You report to the Lead EAX
Jouw profiel en achtergrond
- Bachelor working and thinking is preferred, and you have minimum HTS (BSc.) level
- You have experience in a planning function or comparable position
- Affinity with automation and digital working and knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of PowerBI. Wiritng scripts and/or marco’s is a pré
- Experience with planning software (for example Primavera P6, SAP MRS)
- You are a team player, accurate and flexible and have a pro-active mindset
- You have strong communications skills and are a good listener
- You can focus on an analytical approach, and you have technical affinity
- You are driving issues and challenges forward; you take actions, take ownership
- You have excellent communication skills in English both spoken and written (Dutch advantageous)
- You are ambitious in learning and developing yourself
- You are experienced in project environments
- You are prepared to team up with colleagues and help professionalizing the Planning Department
- Experience within offshore, heavy industry and/or TSO organisations is a pré
