We are seeking a dedicated Systems Engineering Manager to manage the implementation of the Systems Engineering (SE) approach within our 2GW program, consisting of multiple projects. This innovative approach, rooted in ISO15288 processes, is a transformational change for project teams at TenneT and our (sub) contractors. As SE manager you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful adoption and enhancement of this approach across awarded projects in close collaborating with the engineering teams.
Your contribution to TenneT
· Lead the implementation of the SE approach within awarded projects, ensuring proper education, coaching, and application at process and product level.
· Collaborate closely with contractors to assess capabilities, provide coaching, training, and other improvements as needed to implement the SE approach effectively.
· Implement the SE approach towards contractors by assessing capabilities and where necessary improve by coaching or training.
· Drive risk-based contract management in collaboration with relevant disciplines
· Ensure alignment with interfacing disciplines like Information Management and Document Management.
· Serve as the primary contact point for project leads, sub-project leads, technical specialists, and contractors regarding SE topics.
· Organize, plan and manage SE resources to support project-related SE activities, including internal and external SE reviews.
· Implement lessons learned in conjunction with relevant departments, ensuring continuous improvement on SE.
Jouw profiel en achtergrond
Knowledge and experience requirements:
· Minimum of 8 years' experience in Systems Engineering or related roles.
· Solid understanding of Systems Engineering principles and ISO15288 processes.
· Proven ability to lead and implement organizational changes within (project) teams.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
· Demonstrated ability to engage and influence at all levels within an international project organization.

The Unit is responsible for the current and future development of the offshore grid as a whole and subsequently for the development and realization of the DC interconnectors and the Offshore Wind Farm grid connections in both the German and Dutch sectors of the North Sea.
