Your contribution to TenneT

The European energy transition is one of the greatest challenges of our time. Its goal: to make Europe the first climate-neutral continent by 2050. To meet both the rising demand and the goal of net-zero, member states must quickly ramp up their renewable energy supplies. Offshore wind energy from the European Powerhouse North Sea will play a crucial role in tackling this challenge. The European Union acknowledged this in its 2020 offshore wind strategy and, thus, defined ambitious goals for the expansion of offshore wind capacities: at least 60 GW by 2030 and 300 GW by 2050. As Europe’s offshore pioneer, TenneT answers to this historical challenge with the 2GW Program.
To deliver the much-needed green energy to land, TenneT plans to connect 14 high-voltage direct current (HVDC) offshore grid connection systems with a transmission capacity of 2 gigawatt (GW) each in the North Sea by 2032. The portfolio working with our Consortium of Petrofac and Hitachi will build 6 of the HVDC stations onshore and offshore.

For this portfolio, in the team of the lead project management, we are looking for a Project Quality Officer to support the Quality Manager.

Your contribution will be to:
  • Support the planning, preparation, and follow-up of quality-related workshops such as phase preparation, phase closure, and lessons learned sessions with contractors.
  • Assist in organizing and documenting TERRA protocol meetings to ensure clear communication with internal stakeholders about project quality progress and deliverables.
  • Review and analyze audit results, non-conformities, and open points reported by contractors, and support in the follow-up process.
  • Help monitor and maintain quality management standards and documentation, supporting the consistent implementation across all projects.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of quality tools and templates, as part of project management toolbox.
  • Assist in identifying and evaluating quality-related risks, and support the Portfolio Quality Manager in applying a risk-based approach to project quality management.
You will work within the Large Projects Offshore Netherlands (LON) team, department Project Management, which plays a key role in the energy transition by developing offshore grid connections. Within our team, you will experience a collaborative atmosphere where innovation and teamwork are at the core of everything we do.
