The department of Business Guidance – Planning & Analysis is, amongst others, responsible for the IT and Data Governance of the IT applications used within Business Guidance. They play an important role to maintain, improve and supervise the IT applications with which all colleagues within Business Guidance do their work to control TenneT. We are looking for Product owner Project Controlling.

What are you responsibilities as Product Owner Project Controlling at TenneT:

• Be the driver of process improvements in the Project Controlling process of TenneT and the IT/Reporting applications that are used in this process. Actively search for improvements;
• Be the knowledge holder of the process/IT interactions within the Project Controlling process;
• Be the Business Guidance stakeholder for Project Controlling processes towards TenneT’s IT organization, and it’s suppliers;
• Advise the BGD Management Team on the Data and IT strategy/roadmap for the Project Controlling processes. Drive and guide the decision making together with your lead;
• Own the backlog of process and IT changes for Project Controlling. Actively steer, prioritize and communicate. Ensure IT changes are planned with the IT organization;
• Supervise the IT change process: Work out detailed requirements, test changes, update documentation, communication to end-users and provide training;
• Analyze design questions, guide the decision making;
• Maintain the documentation and working instructions;
• Be the Business Workstream Lead in IT Projects on behalf of BGD;

The Product Owner Project Controlling functionally reports to the Program Manager BGD Data Analytics & Governance. The hierarchical reporting line is to the Head Planning & Analysis – Business Guidance.

• You have a bachelor degree in Business Administration, Accounting & Controlling or Technology Management. (or similar);
• You have proven knowledge and experience with ERP- and BI-systems. Knowledge in SAP S/4HANA, SAP PS, BW/4HANA, and PowerBI is a plus;
• You have 5 years of experience as Product Owner or Business Consultant for Financial, Controlling or Operational processes in an ERP-system, or you have 5 years of experience as a leading Business or Project Controller, working with SAP, with an ambition and drive to grow towards a Product Owner role;
• You have strong analytical skills, enjoy solving complicated issues, and dare to take decisions when not everything is 100% clear;
• You have good communication skills, give presentations easily, and know how to guide a decision making process;
• You want to take responsibility over the Project Controlling process, and the application of it in IT systems, and are proactive to keep your domain running;
• You are result oriented with a critical attitude with respect to the results, process and quality;
• Experience and interest in the energy industry or an asset driven company is seen as a plus;
• You speak Dutch fluently and English on a business level proficiency. German is a plus.
