As Product Owner Digital Checkers, you will be responsible for creating roadmaps aimed at improving current digital tools as well as developing new ones for the Data & Documentation Control (DDC) team. Daily business of the team is data entry & control, digitalization of data flows and improvement of data quality; the digital tools in use are a crucial part of ensuring we can keep up with the increasing amount of assets build and maintained by TenneT in the Netherlands. Our mission is to ensure data is FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable and reusable) for the TenneT Dutch onshore operation & maintenance departments.
This is a new role within the team and part of the increasingly important role DDC plays in the digitalization of asset data flows within TenneT; it is needed to ensure communication with IT goes smoothly, create inspiring roadmaps and respect budget & timelines. Your goal is to ultimately increasing the efficiency of the data entry & controls, therefore it would be required to work side by side the Data Controllers who acts as Key Users and use the tools daily, IT Enterprise Architects, Functional Application Managers and external parties who help us build and keep those tools operational. Therefore, it is crucial for the candidate to be available in the central Arnhem office on a regular basis (~ 2 times per week). Additional trips to other office locations (e.g. Gouda) can be requested.
List of tasks include:
- Owns and maintains a group of digital checkers owned by DDC, including the quality of those products
- Develops and implements products’ vision and roadmaps, ensuring alignment with team objectives
- Defines complete, integral and consistent product criteria or business requirements
- Owns development/maintenance budget of the products and is responsible for the value delivery of the products in alignment with Lead DDC
- Coordinates with internal and external stakeholders involved in the product development
- Actively retrieves team needs in all phases of product development and maintenance
- Contribute to digitalization strategy development & implementation with operational perspective
- Monitors progress, identifies deviations and prepares reports and evaluations for informed decisions of Lead Data and Documentation Control
- Give input to the yearly planning of the DDC team, including goal setting and budget
- Participates in projects or working groups concerning digitalization
Jouw profiel en achtergrond
- You have HBO+ working and thinking level, preferably with technical background
- You have 3+ years’ experience in developing digital products and being responsible for IT budgets & timelines
- Preferably you have documented Agile experience, possibly including Product Owner certification
- You show independence, initiative and the ability to work as a team in a complex environment.
- You are a result driven professional with great communication skills
- You are accurate, detail-oriented and are able to create structure in your work
- You speak excellent English and have good proficiency in Dutch as well. There is flexibility on the latter if you are willing and able to work on achieving such level of proficiency.
