Your contribution to TenneT
You will work within a multi-disciplinary team to develop Central Services for DevOps teams of TenneT. Together with your team you will design and develop Everything as a service (XaaS) which will be will be available to the teams through self-service. Services currently being build are Database aaS, Data streaming (Kafka) aaS and others.
You will align with devops-engineers that are working on a Container Orchestrated Platform. Next to that you will align with (solution) architects and engineers to identify the need for Central Service. Another focus domain is creating an Event Bus as a Service (EB aaS) for event-driven data integration and contribute to, support all services developed by the team.
Other activities are:
- You will use standardized building blocks and implement as fully automated as possible
- Ensure privacy and security are respected.
- React to incidents and perform standby activities with the rest of the team
- Provide suggestions and tools to help development decrease lead time
*** Next to above mentioned tasks it's important that you are willingness to provide 24x7 support ones in a while.

Professional and intellectual ability at bachelor level or higher
- Solid understanding of data pipelines, event streaming
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes,
- Solid experience in Kafka
- Able to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
- Experience with Agile development & Scrum
- Version Management (git), Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
- Experience with deploying using tools like Helm & ArgoCD.
- Solid understanding of Linux and Linux admin
