Your contribution to TenneT
As a legal counsel you will be a member of the European Legal Affairs team (currently 22 members), which team is part of the unit Legal Affairs (in total 61 lawyers, 28 of whom work in the Netherlands)

- Advising buyers, project managers and management in relation to the tendering and contracting of infrastructure works, supply and service contracts;
- Drafting, judging and negotiating contracts and other relevant documents;
- Supervising and steering the settlement of disputes;
- Collaborating with other in-house lawyers and colleagues in the Netherlands and Germany, for example in joint projects, but also with regard to the harmonization and standardization of documents and policies.
Jouw profiel en achtergrond
- A master academic degree in Dutch law;
- A lawyer with at least 10 years of relevant work experience in the field of procurement law and construction law.
- Experience with the use of FIDIC contracts and/or experience in the offshore sector is preferable;
- Excellent knowledge of legislation and regulations, developments and case law in the field of procurement law and construction law;
- Creative, pro-active and a practical attitude, excellent advisory skills and a natural ability to convince;
- Flexible and a pragmatic business enabler (within the legal boundaries);
- Proficient in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.

TenneT is een toonaangevende Europese netbeheerder (Transmission System Operator, TSO).
