In the Asset Management team of Robert-Jan de Bes we've an opening of Lead Power Systems & Offshore. In this challenging role you're responsible for the overall leadership and development of the team Platforms, HVDC & Auxiliary Power as well as for coaching, inspiring and developing employees and organization. You will collaborate extensively with other Asset Management teams involved in offshore and in the end to end processes with other units to realize our strategy Build and Maintain the Energy Grid.
Your responsibilities:
- Responsible for the technical governance, standardization as well as quality assurance and control for the relevant Offshore Platform technology, HVDC and Auxiliary Power components for DC stations;
- Developing and maintaining concepts, designs, technical specifications, guidelines and definition of functions, covering the life cycle (incl. analysis of fault events) of the relevant components under consideration of stakeholders needs;
- You ensure the knowledge transfer and process optimization. Furthermore you are point of contact for interfaces across teams in the unit and with TenneT in Germany;
- Strengthening, harmonizing and innovating TenneT’s overall approach to basic engineering for offshore platforms;
- Contribute to technical supplier management (pre-qualification, tenders, framework contracts, supplier selection);
- The leadership and coordination of internal projects, membership in relevant internal and external committees and the representation of TenneT in relevant business associations and towards public authorities are also your tasks.
Jouw profiel en achtergrond
- A master degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Marine Technology or a comparable qualification as well as a minimum of 10 years' of relevant experience;
- You recognize yourself as an entrepreneurial, committed, hands-on motivator and leader, who leads in a convincing manner, with fine sense of organizational dynamics and collaboration;
- You bring the ability to be a respected partner for peer managers and external stakeholders (e.g. public authorities, contractors, DSO's or other TSO's);
- Knowledge about offshore substation and relevant component requirements for a TSO;
- Knowledge about seabed and soil engineering including soil calculations is a big plus;
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
