The Interface Manager assures the interface management process of the Grid Connection System project(s). You will assure that all (technical) interfaces are managed by the different workstreams and will assist the project team(s) with a clear process, system and way of working. You are in close contact with project members and contractors personnel to ensure progress and a high quality of deliverables (process, time, content).
As an Interface Manager, you will be working in the Cluster Maasvlakte (MVL), in the team Integration & Commissioning and report to the PL Integration & Commissioning. The Integration & Commissioning team is accountable for facilitating and managing all processes and issues that are overarching and affecting multiple (minimum two) technical workstreams (Offshore and Onshore Converter Stations, HVDC Cable, 380kV Substation, OWF), internal and external stakeholders and contractors. The various technical workstreams are responsible for the successful and compliant realization of their scope, including the deliverables related to technical interfaces.
Tasks and responsibilities include:
- Safeguard all contract requirements for Interface Management be met and assure dedicated contractor involvement.
- Support - and supervise the review and delivery of Interface requirements, Interface query procedures and any other deliverables related to Interface Management.
- Prepare - and guide the workstreams interface towards other workstreams, projects and stakeholders, inside and even outside TenneT if needed.
- Promote the importance of Interface Management during the different project phases by explaining employer expectations based on contractual requirements and employer experience.
- Support the TenneT specialists of the various technical workstreams, on request, by e.g.: meetings, documentation reviews and performing audits.
- Manage and motivate the consortium/contractor to deliver the quality required, within the agreed timelines.
- Act as a central contact person for assigned stakeholders with regard to Interface management.
- Review on daily and report on a monthly basis on progress and provision of all necessary information for forward-looking scheduling, and active management of risks and opportunities
- Active contribution to a safe working environment for yourself, your colleagues and contractors
- Aligning with experts and teams within Offshore NL/GER and various other departments within TenneT and taking into account lessons learned from other large projects.

Your profile and background
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor degree in the field of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or comparable
- Experience in the field of complex infrastructure projects, turn-key and multi lot.
- Relevant professional experience and knowledge in the field of, System Engineering and Systematic Contract Control.
- You have excellent communication -, cooperation - and influencing skills and are able to challenge and motivate the contractor, your own project colleagues as well as relevant stakeholders. persuasive, sensitive, aware of your stakeholders and capable of balanced judgment.
- Business trips lasting several days (including Asia and Europe).
- You are fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Physical fitness and willingness to travel are essential.
- Familiar with TenneT internal stakeholders related to offshore projects
