As a Financial Reporting Specialist (all genders) you make an important contribution to the reporting processes of TenneT. The Financial Reporting Specialist plays an important role in the periodic analysis of the Dutch, German and consolidated figures, supports the business in answering questions on our financial results and accounting topics and prepares consolidated and statutory financial statements. In close collaboration with your colleagues you ensure that the following most important tasks are performed:

• Understanding the processes behind and the developments of the Dutch, German and consolidated figures
• Ensuring correct application of IFRS and advising/supporting the business on accounting topics
• Preparing IFRS consolidated and statutory financial statements
• Active contribution to the development of the Integrated Annual Report which comply with the relevant reporting requirements
• Improving the (automated) reporting processes
• Coordinating the audit process of the external auditor

• This position requires an academic working and thinking level and a relevant university degree in the field of business administration, economics, accounting or a comparable qualification. A finalised Dutch Chartered Accountant degree (RA) is not necessarily required, but preferred.
• You are an experienced professional with sufficient knowledge of both IFRS and Dutch GAAP, with a track record of "making things happen" and are eager to drive financial reporting forward within TenneT
• You are goal-oriented with a critical attitude with respect to the results, process and quality
• You show independence, initiative, the ability to work in a team as well as strong communication skills
• Business fluency in both English and Dutch

Financial Governance Services delivers up to standard accounting, administration and governance services. By doing so we maintain an up to date set of financial and non-financial data fit for reporting needs of TenneT. We maintain the financial heart of TenneT by effective and efficient data collection and transaction processing.
