Your contribution to TenneT
- Within the PHE portfolio, manage the projects in execution with their applicable business counterpart as a team:
- Responsible for the call-off of new projects in the PHE portfolio.
- Jointly responsible for the results and decisions within (part of) the project, reporting to the PSG and relevant external decision-making bodies. Step in for business counterpart, when he/she is not available.
- Responsible for balanced decision making together with applicable business counterpart, considering project interest as well as the interests of TenneT as a whole. Ensure all relevant decisions are being made with a true and fair view on the results and risks.
- Self-reliant in achieving project goals within the boundaries of the project mandate (budget, time plan, milestones) and TenneT's processes and guidelines.
- Develop a control mechanism for the cost+ items.
- Timely creation of professional decision proposals and exception reports for PSG and EB/SB (PBA, IBA, BRA).
- Divide project into sub-projects and work packages. Provide detailed budgeting, and creation of sub-budgets.
- Coordinate all contract partners and supporting departments involved in the project.
- Ensure compliance with laws and company guidelines/policies (e.g. Code of Conduct, Power of Attorney, Corp. Inv. Manual).
- Participate in contract negotiations, during call-off of projects in the PHE portfolio
- Deciding on the time/scope of Operational Readiness Reports (incl. Gate 5 report).
- Ensuring completeness of project documentation in accordance with the internal and regulatory requirements. Ensure readiness for regulatory audits at any point in time.
Jouw profiel en achtergrond
- At least 5 years of experience in financial controlling, accounting and/or finance management.
- Professional experience of at least 3 years in large construction projects, ideally infrastructure projects.
- Proofound skills in contract- claims- and risk management as well as experience in tender and negotiation situations
- Professional experience and know-how in project controlling and project management including proficient knowledge of IFRS, SAP.
- Education: RA/RC, Master of Science, Controlling and Management, MBA.
- Fluent Dutch verbally and in writing, proficient in English and German.
- Travelling included to Scandinavia, The Middle East and Malaysia.
- Reports to the Financial Portfolio Director of the PHE portfolio
