Your contribution to TenneT
As Project Lead Land Station you will be responsible for all preparatory activities and realisation of the Nederwiek Gamma Land Station within the Regional Cluster Geertruidenberg. You will report to the Project Director of the Regional Cluster Geertruidenberg. The project activities include continuous alignment with stations contractors and external stakeholders as NGV for LionLink and (HVDC) contractors (Hitachi, Larsen & Toubro).
Project Management Tasks
- Lead the Land Station team and coordinate key project disciplines with clarity and focus.
- Ensure a safe working environment for colleagues and contractors.
- Oversee site preparation, design, construction, commissioning, and handover according to scope, quality, safety, and timeline requirements.
- Build strong partnerships with stakeholders, including the portfolio team and Hitachi, to ensure alignment on the HVDC scope.
- Collaborate closely with other workstreams to keep direction, decisions, and priorities clear.
- Contribute to setting ambitious, achievable project goals aligned with TenneT’s strategy.
- Maintain constructive relationships with contractors, suppliers, and authorities, ensuring balanced and transparent decision‑making.
- Safeguard compliance with contracts, deadlines, costs, quality, health, safety and environment guidelines, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Work with experts across Large Projects Offshore/Onshore, Asset Management, and Supply Chain to apply lessons learned from major projects.
- Take ownership of selected cross‑project topics within the Offshore organisation.
Team Leadership Responsibilities
You help build and guide a committed project team, acting as a role model for standardisation and synergy within the 2GW programme. You ensure that team members have the skills, training, and resources they need to perform confidently, while setting clear priorities and communicating openly about expectations and changes. Through trust‑based delegation and transparent dialogue, you foster a culture of collaboration, knowledge‑sharing, and continuous learning across LPO and the 2GW organisation. By actively exchanging insights with experts and colleagues throughout TenneT, you strengthen alignment and help embed lessons learned across projects.

The Offshore division manages the entire lifecycle of all TenneT offshore installations, from development and realisation to maintenance and handover to the Operate division. A crucial task is the construction of 2 GW offshore ‘sockets’, which collect and transport generated wind energy to the mainland.
