Several years of professional experience as a project or works manager on complex HV offshore cable installation or repair projects.

Proven knowledge of the offshore industry, including vessel-based survey operations; experience with ESRI ArcGIS is an advantage.

Good knowledge of geo-sciences and offshore cable systems.

A valid project management certification, preferably IPMA D, PMP, or higher.

Fluency in English; proficiency in Dutch (B1) or German is an advantage.

Willingness to travel within Europe and suitability for offshore work according to the AWMF standard (assessed by the company doctor).

Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Your contribution to TenneT
How will you help power the Netherlands? As a Project Manager Cable, you are responsible for managing complex maintenance and repair projects within TenneT’s offshore grid connection systems. Your work ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of our high-voltage cable assets, both onshore and offshore. In addition, you are responsible for:

Managing offshore cable maintenance and repair projects – Set up, control, monitor, and close complex technical projects related to HV on- and offshore cable repairs, seabed surveys, and remedial actions, with a strong focus on safety, budget, quality, and timelines.

Leading multidisciplinary project teams – Coordinate internal specialists and external contractors, and manage interfaces with key stakeholders, including grid connection managers and maintenance planners.

Planning, reporting, and decision-making – Prepare repair and maintenance plans, project reports, change requests, and decision proposals for authorities, sponsors, and steering committees.

Risk, permit, and compliance management – Identify risks, assess impacts, implement mitigation measures, and ensure compliance with permits, contractual requirements, and TenneT standards during both construction and operational phases.

Safeguarding documentation and asset data – Ensure technical documentation meets TenneT and Grid Field Operations Offshore requirements to support safe and efficient long-term operation.
You will be part of Grid Field Operations Netherlands and work closely with colleagues across operations, maintenance, and asset management. Ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement are central to the way we work.
