For the team Auxiliary & Logistics, you will take responsibility for building and managing a logistics organization that ensures efficient material flows and auxiliary systems across multiple regions. Your focus will be on process optimization, digitalization and standardization to create transparency and reliability in all logistics operations.

Operating in the Offshore Business adds a significantly higher level of complexity compared to onshore logistics, requiring advanced planning, coordination, and resilience. You will lead a team of logistics professionals, manage external service providers, and work closely with Supply Chain Management and campaign planners to ensure end-to-end process integration and material availability.

This is a newly created role, offering you the opportunity to build structures from scratch, shape new processes and their RACI, and develop a strong team culture. We are looking for someone who is intrinsically motivated, passionate about creating solutions, and eager to drive change in a dynamic environment.

Your profile and background

We search for a strong leader who is willing to drive change:
  • You hold a Bachelor or Master degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in logistics management and process optimization is necessary for this role
  • You have strong knowledge of digitalization tools and rollout planning as well as solid project management skills
  • The ability to manage external service providers and complex stakeholder networks is a must 
  • Experience in offshore or similarly complex environments is a strong advantage.
  • You are intrinsically motivated to build new structures and lead change and embrace your passion for developing people and creating a strong team culture
  • You have an analytical mindset and curiosity to challenge the status quo 
  • You are fluent in German and English

Your contribution to TenneT

  • Process Optimization: You drive cross-regional harmonization of logistics processes together with stakeholder and develop rollout plans for new standards and solutions in close collaboration with the regions as well as all involved stakeholder
  • Digitalization: You implement digital tools and systems to improve efficiency and transparency and introduce governance and control mechanisms to achieve high data quality
  • Stakeholder Management: You collaborate with customs, supply chain management, campaign planners, regional management, and technical teams. You build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholder and monitor performance
  • Team Leadership: You build and develop your logistics team from the ground up, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. As the manager you provide technical leadership for the auxiliary & logistics team in Region Central and ensure clear roles, responsibilities, and performance standards
  • Operational Control: You oversee inventory management, material planning, and supply chain reliability and monitor KPIs and drive cost efficiency and lead-time optimization
  • Compliance & Safety: You ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and promote a strong safety culture

This will be our challenge

The Field Operations DC unit executes field operations including maintenance, overhaul, and small projects for offshore and HVDC assets. It manages asset data, documentation, and standardized DC engineering services. The unit plans and oversees operations & maintenance, monitors assets, manages faults, and ensures technical and organizational readiness of new assets. It continuously improves maintenance and logistics strategies and provides detailed engineering expertise to support other execution units.
