Your contribution to TenneT
During your internship, you will work on one of the following projects. Please indicate your preference in your application:
- Anomaly Detection – Identifying irregular behaviour in grid operations, sensor data, or communication systems.
- Optimization – Supporting grid planning or energy market simulations through mathematical and algorithmic optimization techniques.
- Computer Vision – Developing methods to analyze visual data from grid infrastructure (e.g., drone footage or thermal imaging) to support asset inspection, fault detection, or condition monitoring.
You will be supported by the Data Analytics team, where you will have plenty of opportunity to work independently and brainstorm with colleagues.

A monthly internship allowance of €500 (based on 40 hours per week).
Start date: February 1st 2026 for a period of 5 to 10 months, full-time (40 hours per week).
