Your contribution to TenneT

You will develop and implement analysis methodologies for the following purposes:
  • Assessing the future behavior of the EHV grid and system, particularly in relation to power flow and contingency analyses, system stability, and the integration of power electronics.
  • Evaluating power system stability, with a focus on decreasing inertia and fault levels resulting from the phase-out of conventional generation.
  • Investigating the integration of power electronics due to the increasing share of renewable energy sources.
  • Developing intelligent grid planning concepts, particularly in the context of sector coupling (e.g., power-to-gas, power-to-heat).
You will play a key role in contributing to network development plans and expansion projects (G0) within the Dutch transmission system, while also representing TenneT in national and international working groups and study programs. Additionally, you will collaborate with colleagues in Germany to enhance methods and tools, and contribute to the development and maintenance of the dynamic grid model.
