The Project Lead Offshore Wind Farm is the person that has been given the authority and responsibility to manage the project scope of the OWF Developer(s) on a day-to-day basis, and to deliver the required products to enable the windfarm connection towards the 2GW HVDC Grid Connection System. As part of the project team you will have the overall responsibility/accountability that main tasks are executed by professionals in the project or line organization.
Main tasks
- Manage the project scope on a day-to-day basis and deliver the required products, with a focus on: SHE, Time, Quality and Budget.
- Managing the sub-projects and work packages by organizing the project team including: technical Engineering, Stakeholders, PMO roles and internal department resources.
- Ensuring realization of the OWF connection project in accordance with the applicable agreements. (Connection and Realization Agreement).
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, laws and organization regulations in the project.
- Managing the construction sites with a focus on SHE, assuring quality, site supervision and commissioning.
- Ensuring project documentation including; Quality and risk registers, project reporting and hand-over data and documentation.
- Alignment with and managing of the internal stakeholders with regards to the time, scope, data and documentation and the Operational Readiness of the OWF connection.
Your profile and background
- You have a minimum Bachelor degree and affinity with electrical / mechanical engineering
- You have a wide experience in managing contracts.
- Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and to become acquainted with a range of topics.
- You have excellent communication and negotiation skills and are able to organize and schedule activities well.
- You show initiative, you are persuasive, sensitive, aware of your stakeholders and capable of balanced judgment (environmental awareness).
- You are dynamic, enthusiastic, intrinsically motivated, you take your responsibility and ownership (committed); no 'nine to five-mentality'.
- You are able to functionally manage, motivate and give direction to a team of professionals and you are a team player yourself.
- You are preferable IPMA C certified or open to follow a certification traject.
- Experience in FIDIC and System Engineering principles is a an advantage.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.
- Willingness to travel.
