- As a member of the Operations Offshore & HVDC Leadership Team you actively contribute to and co-own the unit strategy development/implementation, reporting to the Director Grid Field Operations Offshore & HVDC
- You are leading the department Operations 1GW Systems of around 300 department members, especially motivation, inspiring, coaching and development of people
- You monitor and improve our operational execution performance, based on operational performance transparency, an operational performance management system, an embedded best practice sharing, a solid failure culture and a proactive/learning community
- You monitor and improve our asset performance, based on asset performance transparency, asset performance comparisons, asset (system/equipment) standardisations, improvements & reductions, and based on a solid asset risk management system
- You co-deliver new HVDC assets by supporting our Large Projects units and you ensure organizational readiness preparedness and operational readiness for new assets to be handed over to Operations Offshore & HVDC by our Large Projects units
- You are ultimately accountable for asset quality & integrity, availability, Health and Safety and profit & loss management
Your profile and background
- This position requires a relevant university degree in electrical, mechanical or industrial engineering, business administration or comparable
- You have relevant working experience and in a leading position – profound asset management, project management and performance management experience in sectors like Energy and Technology
- Your are able to balance transactional and transformational leadership in the best interest of the community & business
- You apply management functions and systems (organizing, planning, controlling, staffing, directing) as required to ensure business performance and improvement
- You develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders on Senior Management level, who are essential for achieving results. You Influence others in their perspectives and actions, understand the interests and decision-making process for stakeholders, and based on this develop win-win solutions
- You are able to switch between strategic and operational level, long-term and short-term perspective; being able to provide orientation and guidance in complex environments/situations
