The Enabling Functions department scales and accelerates the standardization and automation of TenneTs enabling processes such as HR, Finance, Collaboration and others. As Domain Office Lead you will be part of the leadership team of Enabling Functions (BTO-EF). And as part of this team, you will drive the vision, strategy, portoflio and execution of initatives within our domain.
You take a leadership role in driving and supporting the development of your team members and our domain values.
As a Domain Office Lead, you will work closely with the Domain Head and your (business) stakeholders and Delivery Leads from your domain, to successfully manage domain portfolio/projects/processes and security.
On a day-to-day basis, tasks may include:
- Represent the domain in the TenneT planning and portfolio management process (e.g., to provide transparency on team
- performance and priorities, guard team and product/platform/service interests)
- Design and control the domain overarching management dashboard to foster fact based decision making
- Empower team members and create a safe environment fostering innovation
- Enable teams by managing team resources (e.g., strategic workforce planning and requesting additional resources if needed)
- Participate actively in the TenneT planning and portfolio management process (e.g., to provide transparency on team performance and priorities, guard team and product/platform/service interests)
- Support development of your team members (e.g., perform HR tasks like individual performance management, learning and development) and supervise team members in establishing and achieving their personal development goals focused on domain goals
- Foster open dialogue and coaching on individual behavior in line with the cultural values of TenneT
- Encourage an organizational culture of continuous learning
- Dare to make timely decisions, considering all relevant business and technical factors
- Communicate about different aspects of the product/platform/service within and outside of your team(s), including to business stakeholders

Your profile and background
You are a seasoned IT professional with the following qualifications:
- Several years of experience in leading digital transformations for medium to larger companies
- Several years of experience in managing staff activities for the domain, such as managing portfolio and setting up data driven reporting and decision making
- Significant experience in working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with business stakeholders
- Belief in a non-hierarchical culture, transparency and trust in teams, stimulating continuous learning on team as well as individual level, ambassador of servant leadership
- Promoter of inclusive workplace where diversity and individual differences are valued
- Good communication & presentation skills and being organizational sensitive
- Fluent in English; Dutch is an advantage
- Professional qualifications including relevant university degree or equivalent

BTO will drive security of supply, energy transition, organizational and financial health through digital, data and analytics. BTO will secure solid foundations through seamless end-user services (UX), industry-leading cybersecurity setup and resilient data centers and cloud infrastructure. BTO will have consistent business/BTO alignment, strategic partnerships with vendors and clear standards on architecture, vendor & portfolio management and security. BTO will unlock value of data and digital by building all the necessary enablers (incl. data platform, data governance processes, capabilities) and embedding innovation initiatives into business roadmaps.
