Your contribution to TenneT
As a Delivery Lead BTO for the Asset Chain, you are accountable for the technology strategy, enablement and delivery management of the solutions portfolio for one or more of the business functions focusing on Building the Assets. This includes the product/platform/service delivered by a team of approximately 10+ individuals and augmented by external suppliers. You do this in close cooperation with your team, rest of BTO organization and key (business) stakeholders in the heart of the TenneT business, the Asset Chain (primarily but not restricted to, Large Projects teams) and the new launched Business Technology Organization (BTO).
You act together with your team as a strategic partner for the Asset Chain business partners and support with technical expertise, service, project and contract management with the overall goal of establishing BTO as the true business partner.
Your primary responsibilities include, but not restricted to:
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders in the business functions (internal customers) to enable the BTO vision, develop roadmap and new way of working for the recently launched BTO organization.
- Develop and operationalize the full IT services and related processes for the primary processes of TenneT's asset chain.
- In our IT project/portfolio steering boards you fulfil the senior supplier role to ensure successful implementations, transition and support.
- Communicate about different aspects of the product/platform/service within and outside of your team(s), including to business stakeholders.
- Work closely with other BTO domains (platform teams / center of excellences / outsourced service partners) as well as internal functional departments like HR, Business Guidance and Procurement.
- Participate actively in the TenneT planning and portfolio management process (e.g., to provide transparency on team performance and priorities, guard team and product/platform/service interests)
- Enable teams by managing resources (e.g., strategic workforce planning and requesting additional resources if needed).
- Activate interaction and knowledge sharing within teams.
- Empower team members and create a safe environment fostering innovation.
- Align within the team and you make sure that the interests of the team is well reflected in our cross-functional eco-system.
- Support development of your team members (e.g., perform HR tasks like individual performance management, learning and development) and supervise team members in establishing and achieving their personal development goals focused on domain goals
- Facilitate, set up and support (temporary) guilds for the purpose of standardization & knowledge development of subject areas.
- Encourage End-to-End thinking.
- Dare to make timely decisions, considering all relevant business and technical factors defined to achieve the target plan, scope and budget.

Your profile and background
- You have a customer-focused mindset.
- You are able to guide / educate / challenge key stakeholders in the organization towards one vision of BTO.
- You have hands-on experience of managing mid-sized cross-functional delivery teams with direct accountability for a minimum 3-5 years.
Furthermore:
- University education in a technical field is a must-have; MBA is a pre.
- Experienced in leading IT/ Digital change with the demonstrated ability to deliver stable and impactful IT solutions and services.
- Experience in working with IT and digital solution that support the Asset Chain (Plan Build and Maintainance) is a must-have.
- Experience with at least one of the following technologies: OT/IT integration, Data Integration, SCADA technology, Data driven Power system analysis and planning software and high performance computing power solutions, Digital twins.
- Experience working in hybrid with outsourced services is a must have.
- Fluency in English is a must; basic Dutch language skills (or an interest to learn) is necessary.
