About Business Technology Organization (BTO) and BTO Office:
BTO is TenneT's centralized IT organization and a crucial component of TenneT’s ambitious strategy. Organized into value streams and domains, BTO aligns seamlessly with TenneT’s end-to-end processes. The BT Office functions as the CIO Office, positioned to drive direction, control, and change across domains and value chains. Following a significant reorganization, BTO is now poised to take the next step in realizing its full potential. As part of this effort, we are focusing on implementing IT Service Management (ITSM), Enterprise Service Management (ESM), and IT4IT frameworks to enhance our service delivery and performance. Our ultimate goal is to reduce disruptions and increase the speed of IT service delivery to the business.
About the Team:
The Quality and Performance Management (QPM) team, within BT Office, is dedicated to overseeing strategic and tactical ITSM process management and ensuring robust quality assurance. Our primary goal is to empower the BTO organization to achieve optimal control by championing the adoption of ITIL, implementing effective governance frameworks, and leading continuous improvement initiatives. We are committed to upholding the highest standards of quality and performance across all IT services, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvements.
Are you the ITIL rockstar we’re looking for? We need a dedicated and experienced Process Manager who’s ready to shake things up. In this key role, you'll be the driving force behind implementing and maturing ITIL processes within our BTO organization. Your mission: kick off continuous improvement cycles, boost our ITIL processes, and make sure they’re top-notch in quality and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Incident Management: Manage multiple ITIL processes with a particular emphasis on Incident Management. The focus on specific processes may shift within the team over time, but strong expertise in Incident Management is currently required;
- ITIL Process Implementation: Lead the implementation of ITIL processes within the BTO organization, ensuring alignment with best practices and business objectives;
- Process Maturity Enhancement: Develop and execute strategies to elevate the maturity of ITIL processes through continuous improvement cycles;
- Results-Driven Focus: Consistently deliver high-quality outcomes quickly and efficiently, thriving in a fast-paced environment where frequent and timely delivery is essential to success;
- Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within existing ITIL processes, propose solutions, and oversee their implementation to enhance process efficiency and effectiveness;
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to promote the adoption of ITIL processes and drive a culture of continuous improvement;
- Training and Development: Provide training and support to team members on ITIL processes and best practices to ensure consistent application and understanding across the organization;
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on the performance of ITIL processes, using metrics and KPIs to track progress and identify opportunities for further enhancement;
- Teamwork: You will join a relatively new team facing an exciting yet challenging future. We need a team player who values collaboration and solidarity as much as the processes they manage, contributing to both the team's and the organization's success.
Your profile and background
- Successfully implemented and managed ITIL processes: You've led the way in streamlining and optimizing IT operations, including Incident Management, within large organizations;
- Applied IT Service Management and ITIL frameworks effectively: You’ve made a noticeable impact with improved service delivery metrics and increased process efficiency;
- Utilized strong analytical and problem-solving skills: You drive continuous improvement initiatives with documented successes in enhancing service quality and reducing downtime;
- Demonstrated excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities: You lead cross-functional teams, manage senior leadership expectations, and facilitate collaborative solutions;
- Managed ITIL processes within IT4IT-managed organizations: You know exactly how ITIL processes operate within IT4IT organizations and the best practices to follow (and avoid) to ensure maximum success.
