Your contribution to TenneT
- Oversee and execute site inspections of control and protection systems during construction and commissioning phases to ensure the quality as well as compliance of the systems delivered by the contractors
- Monitor and report construction and commissioning activities carried out by the contractors; coordinate and report system changes according to change management processes
- Support the reviews of technical documentations related to control and protection
- Act as a single point of contact within the given scope at site and proactively support the contractor at site in close cooperation with internal stakeholders
- Help identify relevant technical information (e.g. installation information, vendor manuals, construction and commissioning procedures) and distill valuable learnings and derive actionable items
- Assure the implementation of the systems according to TenneT standards, applicable German standards and design documents
Your profile and background
- Successfully completed studies in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years of experience at the site within the control and protection scopes
- Familiar with secondary electrical systems in field of C&P, standard communication protocols (e.g. IEC 104) and their installation, testing and commissioning
- Experienced with German rules and standards (e.g. DIN, VDE)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in the given scopes
- Good verbal and written expressiveness in English and preferably in German
- Skilled in teamwork

The Unit is responsible for the current and future development of the offshore grid as a whole and subsequently for the development and realization of the DC interconnectors and the Offshore Wind Farm grid connections in both the German and Dutch sectors of the North Sea.
