Your contribution to TenneT
- You are responsible for conducting electromagnetic transient (EMT) studies to evaluate the system technical performance for grid changes, e.g., due to introduction of long cable connections or due to the formation of radial connections in the HV grids and identify effective mitigation options;
- You support power quality studies relevant to the evaluation of amplification of background harmonic voltages, harmonic propagation and rapid voltage changes;
- Further you are responsible for reviewing the EMT studies for the compliance verification process and for developing and maintaining internal policies relevant to electromagnetic transients;
- You act as the contact point between System Integrity and Asset Technology in relevant topics.
Your profile and background
- Master degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable;
- Good understanding of electromagnetic transients and power quality;
- Good understanding of power system planning;
- Experience with PSCAD and DIgSILENT Power Factory is a must;
- Experience with EMTP-ATP or EMTP-RV is a pre.
