Your contribution to TenneT
- Preparing and managing safe maintenance operations on the cable systems and platforms by TenneT personnel, subcontractors, Wind Park Operators and Third Parties;
- Coordinating switching operations between offshore and on shore assets;
- Ensuring compliance to relevant legislations, Offshore Electrical Safety Standard and SHE-rules for internal and external personnel;
- Natural ability to share knowledge and experience to improve the operational readiness of upcoming assets;
- Member of the grid connection system (GCS) management steering team; being responsible for the custodianship of the GCS for budget & quality.
- Coordinating high voltage and low voltage switching activities with Project Teams, OWP's, System Operations, Congestion Management, other OIV's working in the on shore domain and third parties and other stakeholders;
- Nominating GFO-O personnel as NPcWA, SP and IP;
- Providing guidance to NPcWA's, SP and IP's regarding OESS-related activities;
- Explaining the OESS regime to stakeholders where required or seen fit.
Your profile and background
- BSc or MSc level electrical engineering;
- Established and accepted safety leader and expert in electrical systems, including AIS, GIS transformers and secondary systems;
- Proficient in directing electrical operations in both the on shore and off shore domain during normal operations and in emergency situations;
- Calm and collected, balanced interpersonal communication skills;
- Proficient in coordinating, controlling and reporting corrective actions on the service disruptions in electrical systems;
- Hands on experience with switching operations in high voltage as well as low voltage installations, in line with the Offshore Electrical Safety standard, which is based on NEN ISO 3140 and NEN ISO 3840;
- Solid technical affinity mechanical systems (HVA/C, Foam and Gas Fire Fighting and other aux systems) and offshore installations;
- Language skills in both Dutch and English, verbal and in writing, at Level B2 (confident) or higher;
- Skilled and experienced in off shore operations, including ship access and helicopter access, lifting operations and cargo handling on and near the platform;
- Relevant knowledge and experience in occupational safety and environmental protection;
- Knowledge of offshore regulatory conditions and legislation.
