The aim of the People unit is to support the strategy of TenneT threefold:
1) bring out the best in our people,
2) build leadership that empowers and
3) organize our people and work at their best to be able to accomplish our TenneT objectives.
In the sharpened strategy, 'people' is at the heart of TenneT. The People unit is responsible for the development and implementation of the HR strategy, talent acquisition and development, consultancy to board and management on HR related issues (business partner) and state of the art HR services to management and employees in order to support TenneT in its ambition to be a Top Employer.
The HR Business Partner actively brings in developments and innovations from outside. The HR Business Partner develops an HR Unit plan, based on a vision on the future of work in combination with the developments and strategic choices regarding the designated Units. Furthermore the HR Business Partner:
- Is the trusted advisor to the MT (director/heads) of designated Unit(s). A solid, independent and reflective discussion partner with expertise.
- Is responsible for applying and promoting the PPL Strategy and policies within the work area.
- Integral critical prioritization of strategic business topics to be put on the agenda, jointly in the HR-BP team. This requires an independent attitude and the ability to oversee the total business issues.
- Maintains an overview of the HR services within the unit and is proactively informed by the various HR experts and HR advisors.
- Monitors the talent development in accordance with the central HR policy.
- Is responsible for HR projects to drive and execute them.
- Supports and coordinates processes of organizational design, organizational structure and organizational change to make sure the set up is future proof and ready for the energy transition.
- Has experience as a project lead as you will be a workstream Lead within TenneT HR
- With your energy you excel as an HR Business Partner.
- You can translate strategy and complex business (change) issues into relevant HR challenges.
- You have leadership qualities, you inspire colleagues and you communicate in a clear way.
- You are result-oriented for your own work area and at the same time able to put TenneT's interests first. It goes without saying that you are organizationally sensitive, independent and act as an equal discussion partner.
Jouw profiel en achtergrond
- University graduate or equivalent with 7 - 10 years of relevant work experience as a trusted advisor for the business
- Knowledge and experience in change management, organizational design
- Proven project management experience, project leading skills
- Experience in designing the job grid and grading methodologies
- Analytical skills; advisory skills; communication (written and oral) skills in English and Dutch
- Resilient, perseverance and self-confident
- Empathic, service oriented, organizational sensitivity, political sensitivity
- Can do mentality and business focus
- Healthy sense of humor and ability to connect

- The weekly working time is between 32 to 40 hours per week (hybrid way of working)
- Directly a permanent contract with a trial period of 2 months
- Basic salary for this position is in grade 9, to a maximum of € 8.594,- gross based on a fulltime position according TenneT TSO CLA (excluding holiday allowance and end of year allowance and other benefits)
